Keith Turley's much acclaimed painting of the Dad's Army cast, set in a background of wartime memorabilia is now available as a limited edition print on high quality heavyweight paper.
With the national appeal of a wartime poster complete with Union Jacks, it features the magnificent seven of Captain Mainwaring, Sergeant Wilson, Corporal Jones, Frazer, Pike, Godfrey and Walker. In addition, there are cameo portraits of Warden Hodges, the Vicar and Verger. The design is linked together by well known posters, a soldiers helmet and hand grenade with the 'deadly attachment' of string completes the foreground. A centre panel shows Jones' famous van travelling through Walmington-on-Sea, whilst the upper area of search lights reveals a barrage balloon and a trio of Spitfires.
