Selling art can be a time-consuming and expensive business with high commissions charged by most Galleries. Art by Post Ltd., is listed on at least 250 Internet Search Engines, including Google, AOL, Altavista, MSN, Yahoo etc. We have had over 130,000 pages viewed, and average 60 visitors per day! If you are interested in joining the Artists on the Art by Post website to promote and sell your own artwork, send us the Form below. Carefully mail us a portfolio of 9 images of the Artwork you would like to display, with your personal profile. Membership includes: Free setup when you provide clear images of your artwork for your Webpage. (We will need 35mm slides or negatives carefully mailed to us with the titles of your artwork, orientation, the size of work, media used and if you wish, price and postage details.) No commission charges unless we act as your Agent with Shopping Basket and Credit Card facilities if requred. Creation of one main Webpage with 9 'thumbnail' or small preview pictures of your artwork which load up quickly, making your Homepage inviting to prospective buyers. Nine secondary pages that give Customers enlarged closeup views with further text information. We aim to keep the image size compressed to less than 500 pixels to deter illegal copying of your work. Distinctive META TAGS and META KEYWORD descriptions of your art to attract prospective buyers to you Webpages. Your main Webpage can have several paragraphs of information about you and your art, plus contact information to buy your artwork e.g. your email and/or address and telephone number. A Site Meter Tag on each of your pages will monitor who views what. A link from your main Art by Post Webpage to your own Website if you already have one. If required, a major update to your Art by Post Website once every two months. Small changes can be made monthly e.g. to inform that your artwork is sold. IMPORTANT: We can only display artwork personally created by a living Artist. You need to submit your art to us for review. (Note: Please DO NOT send original artwork). No explicit racist, or pictures of sexual acts will be accepted. The express permission of the Artist must be provided if an Agent submits the pictures. Art by Post Ltd. reserves the right to refuse to display an Artist's work that does not compliment other artwork shown in the Art by Post Gallery, or does not meet our guidelines. The Artist will be informed when his work has been reviewed, and then given the process for setting up the display. Rates: only 32 pence per day (£ 116.00 per year) when your artwork has been reviewed and accepted. Compare this very low rate with those of other websites!
